“Oh, okay.” The answer was quick in response, and rather simple and nonchalant. Truth be told, she would have preferred a short summary, but at least she had a fairly bland picture in her mind now.
“Yeah…” Sad thing was, that was the summary. The smallest thing besides I’m fucked that she’s got.
“So, how did you get that power. Erasing people’s memories.”
“I was born with it, I believe. At the very least, I obtained it in the early stages of infanthood. It’s not something I’m entirely proud of possessing, since my ability has been used and abused.”

“Ah…” if the scientists knew the genome that affected this power, maybe she could be cured of her power. She did have a cure for Luna, to suppress him into nothing more but a mere genetic defect and not a sentient and clinging being.
“Who’s the moron that made you use it wrongly so I can shoot them in the face.”
“Well… It’s a curse to be one. A L’Cie is a person branded by a Fal’Cie… Think of them as gods. The person branded with it is forced a mission or Focus and are given great power. But, you are on borrowed time. Don’t do the Focus, you become a Cie’th that kills people. Those that do the task are forced into crystal stasis until they are needed again with another task.”

“Oh great… Sorry. Doubt being a Gun Mage counts. Or being a time-traveler… or a L’cie.”
“We’ve had our fair share of gun-users and time warpers, but what is this “l’Cie” you speak of?”

“Well… It’s a curse to be one. A L’Cie is a person branded by a Fal’Cie… Think of them as gods. The person branded with it is forced a mission or Focus and are given great power. MUn-Chan:To feel just I don’t know. Like you just really don’t belong here? I mean the people on here are nice, but I just feel to unqualified.Maybe it just me I don’t know.
((I don’t see why you feel like that… ;~; *has been working on your starter*))
“There, that’s better. The Norn has no set destination, so to speak. It merely serves as an academy for adolescents possessing… special abilities.”
“Wait… What KIND of talents are we talking about?”
“Those kind of traits that are abnormal in human society. For example, a noisy boy that I’m unfortunately acquainted with has the ability to influence people’s hearts. I, myself, bear the curse to erase one’s memories.”

“Oh great… Sorry. Doubt being a Gun Mage counts. Or being a time-traveler… or a L’cie.”
Travis had told his mother that something was up with Fayith, and asked if she’d go talk to her. Agreeing quickly, Liana found the girl and crouched down next to her. “Fayith?” she asked softly. “You want to talk about it?”
A single turn of her head was all she was given to see who was behind her. Liana… Even if she wanted to say a thing: her nature wouldn’t let her. Covering up the mark with her wrist, Fayith just gave a small glare to her, “No…”
When it truth, she did want to talk.
“Fayith, Travis is worried about you…he’s just…not sure how to help. That’s why he asked me.” Liana sat down beside her and slid an arm over the other girl’s shoulder, her other hand resting on a small box of cinnamon candy in her pocket, ready to throw at Luna for a distraction if he had a problem with it.
“…” Fucking asshole. He knew she was not well. And he had to send his MOTHER to help out? Oh he was going to get it when she sees him.
“He’s a fucking asshole… He could have fucking came over and talked. That good-for-nothing jerk face…”
“Fine then. Then can you please tell me where the hell is this thing going.”
“There, that’s better. The Norn has no set destination, so to speak. It merely serves as an academy for adolescents possessing… special abilities.”

“Wait… What KIND of talents are we talking about?”
“You are aboard the Norn, currently in flight. I would attempt to offer some assistance, but… Hmm… It seems as though you are not even part of this timeline, nor world.”
“Tell me something I DON’T KNOW… Like what the hell is this Norn, and where is it heading.”
“Something you don’t know, hmm? I do not usually comply to helping those with an attitude — did you know that?”

“Fine then. Then can you please tell me where the hell is this thing going.”
“Don’t say that…” Rain said softly from behind her. Part of him wanted to go and hug her, but there was no telling how she would react to it. So he just stepped forward and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. “If you need or want help to complete your focus I’m more then willing to…”
How was he to know of her feelings. Better to be dead now since those that she once recalled were gone. She was alone. And it fucking hurt.
“Say what? Being turned into a Cie’th? I rather be one then disappear like everything else did in my life! And I don’t even know what the fuck my Focus is! No vision thingy came up! Nothing! How the fuck am I to solve that!”

Wait… was she meaning the L’cie mark? Or Luna?
“…How about directions… As in… Where the hell am I.”
